Beginning October 2022, Artists Space will transform our downstairs gallery into a venue dedicated to performance of all forms. The program will include site-specific choreography commissions, musician residencies and concerts, poetry readings and performances, curatorial collaborations with artists, cabaret evenings, film, video, and sound installations, and temporal events of all kinds. A yearlong commitment, this shift in our structure will reflect the multitude of ways artists are making their work at present, and will inform a more holistic inclusion of performance across all our spaces in years to come.
