Lynne Tillman's novels include Motion Sickness; No Lease on Life, National Book Critics Circle Award finalist; American Genius, A Comedy, and Men and Apparitions. Her nonfiction books include The Velvet Years: Warhol's Factory 1965-1967, and What Would Lynne Tillman Do?, a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award in Criticism. She lives in New York with bass player David Hofstra.


Audrey Wollen is a writer from New York City. Her writing has appeared in The New York Review of Books, The New Yorker, The New York Times, Bookforum, The Nation, and elsewhere.
