The Friends of Artists Space are our most essential supporters, an active and always-growing network of local, national, and international patrons whose generosity helps fundamentally shape our future.

On the occasion of our 50th anniversary, we encourage you to join the Artists Fund, an initiative to raise $2.5 million to significantly support future artistic production. You can find more information here.

The Friends of Artists Space exclusively support our programming, directly investing in artistic production and new commissions. This visionary work needs visionary support, and our Friends members join in the commitment to radical art forms and visibility for all communities. Our Annual Friends levels are $2,500 for individuals and $5,000 for dual memberships. Our Super Friends contributions start at $10,000 and increase to $20,000. Our Friend donors are invited to intimate openings, tours, and conversations throughout the year and become our guests at the Annual Friends of Artists Space Dinner in the spring.

Since first opening our doors in 1973, Artists Space has remained an indispensable site for exhibitions, performances, public programs, and critical conversations, while steadfastly supporting the unknown, the speculative, the hermetic, the untested, and the evolving concerns of our time.
