To Us at Twilight...

To Us at Twilight... is a solo performance, a collage of dreams, recounted stories, objects, movement and tableaux. a compelling blend of images and speech. Generations of women walk the razor's edge of madness under a veil of Southern manners and genteel eccentricity as Pou explores a heritage of graveyards, bad blood, secrets and family loyalties. Along with To Us at Twilight... the program will include a section from a new work currently in progress.

During Artists Space's regular hours the performance set/installation for To Us at Twilight... will remain on view to the public.

Alyson Pou's solo work has been seen at Creative Time, Danspace Project, Franklin Furnace, P.S. 122 and other venues. She has recently received grants from the Franklin Furnace Fund for Performance Art and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship.
