Tisa Bryant is the author of Residual, a nonfiction assemblage of the interiors of grief, the home as archive, and the mystery of mothers, published in 2026 by Nightboat Books. She is also the author of Unexplained Presence and co-editor of the three-volume, cross-referenced literary journal, The Encyclopedia Project. She is Associate Professor of English at the University of Iowa.

Soham Patel is the author of The Daughter Industry, as well as all one in the end/water, ever really hear it, winner of the Subito Prize, and to afar from afar. They serve as associate editor at FENCE Magazine.
