Steffani Jemison was a 2020 recipient of a Creative Capital Award and a Guggenheim Fellowship, among other honors. The artist is perhaps best known for her lush video portrayals of highly skilled performers, whose spell-binding physical feats pose the questions at the heart of Jemison’s own practice.

Anne Waldman co-founded the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics program at Naropa University. She is the author of over 60 books and winner of the Pen Center Literary Prize. Waldman is most recently the author of Bard, Kinetic; New Weathers: Poetics from the Naropa Archive; and the libretto for David T. Little’s opera Black Lodge.
