Lauren Russell is the author of Descent and What’s Hanging on the Hush. An NEA fellow in poetry and the 2021 winner of the PSA’s Anna Rabinowitz Award, she is an assistant professor in the Residential College in Arts and Humanities at Michigan State University and Director of its Center for Poetry.

Roberto Carlos Garcia is the author of three poetry collections: Melancolía, black / Maybe: An Afro Lyric, and [Elegies]. His essay collection, Traveling Freely, and his fourth poetry collection titled What Can I Tell You: Selected Poems, are forthcoming in 2023. Roberto is the founder and president of Get Fresh Books Publishing.
