Segue Reading Series: Edmund White & Max Steele. October 2, 2021, Artists Space.

Edmund White is a novelist, memoirist, and biographer. He is the author of many critically acclaimed books, including A Boy’s Own Story, The Beautiful Room Is Empty, Inside a Pearl, and most recently, A Saint from Texas.

Max Steele is a writer and artist in New York who makes literature and performance. He writes the zines Scorcher, Door Girls, and EPSILON and wrote the blog and hosted the reading series FAG CITY from 2006-2017. He was a resident artist at Brooklyn Artist Exchange and performed at the New Museum, BAM, PPOW Gallery, La MAMA, the Queer NY International Art Festival and the Queens Museum of Art.
