Dubravka Djuric is a professor at the Faculty for Media and Communication, Belgrade. She has published many studies of poetry and art. Her poetry has been translated into English, Polish, Italian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Slovenian, Albanian and Hungarian. She lives in Belgrade. She will be reading from her new book, The Politics of Hope (After the War) with translator Biljana Obradović and introduced by Charles Bernstein.
Fanny Howe is a poet, novelist, and short story writer. Howe has written many books of poetry One Crossed Out, Gone, and Second Childhood, the novels Nod, The Deep North, and Indivisible, and collected essays The Wedding Dress: Meditations on Word and Life and The Winter Sun: Notes on a Vocation.
