Artists Space
Kevin Drumm
Live at Artists Space
We will use the large 3rd floor Soho loft at 38 Greene St. We will open all of the windows of the space. It will be evening and ambient light will do most of the work. We will use two channels of source sound to deliver four channels of audio. The equipment will remit precise, technical output. It will have the ability to permeate the space if necessary. This simple audio matrix and performance rubric is then given to Kevin. What will happen?
Kevin Drumm is from Chicago. Since the 1990s, he has released numerous experimental albums of many different sorts. He uses table-top devices to produce audio. He has collaborated with Mats Gustafson, Taku Sugimoto, Phil Niblock, Tony Conrad, and Axel Dörner among many others.
