Laura Larson's Dodge City traces a young woman's road trip which leads to murder.

Mary Anne Toman's The Female Offender takes a subjective look at the cultural mythology surrounding female criminals.

Tom Kalin's Swoon reconstructs the celebrated 1920s Leopold and Loeb case, in which two wunderkinds kidnap and kill a 10- year-old cousin as they aim to commit the perfect crime.
