ED LEVINE's room construction will occupy Gallery 207. As the departure point for his work Levine uses the viewer's expectation of a rational space as well as the rooms architectural elements such as doors and windows. He then alters the existent space and with it the viewer's anticipated perceptions through the use of cast acrylic sheets and temporarily constructed walls. LEVINE's interest in working in this manner is "...the space outside the frame of language or the point where the mind ceases to hold what the eye feels".
