Noted New York City-based firm Architecture Research Office will present Paper Architecture, a project that explores the relationship between computer-aided design and manufacture (CAD/CAM), and craft. Two inter­locking aspects will demonstrate the creation process: learning to use a computer-controlled laser cutter to fabricate elements of paper and exploring how the properties of paper affect the construction of a paper wall.

Founded in 1993, Architecture Research Office has recently completed many building projects, including the Army Recruiting Center at Times Square.
