Architecture & Design Project Series:
Sensual Hyper Tension

November 12, 2004 – January 8, 2005

Making reference to a 1993 project titled Hyper-Tension, Odile Decq’s installation revisits the main principles of her building practice, organized around the concept of dynamic equilibrium, activated by movement, and unfolding as a sequence of perspectives.

Sensual Hyper Tension is a vexing space, and results from the joining of diverse vantage points, sight-lines, and projections, perturbing the perception of the limits of space, which become unlimited.
