Photo Club

Our second collaboration with City-As-School encouraged transfer high school students to explore the overlapping themes of gentrification and displacement while examining their own individual stories using the technical and expressive qualities of street photography to document and illustrate the daily incongruities of NYC life. This work culminated in SLIDEfest a 20 minute photo essay slideshow exhibited in the Main Hall at 16 Clarkson St in the West Village.
