Artists Space is dedicated to creating an open and accessible environment. We are located on the corner of Cortlandt Alley and White Street, between Broadway and Lafayette Street. The closest subway stops are the J (Canal), the 4/5/6 (Canal), N,R,Q,W (Canal) and the A/C (Canal). The closest wheelchair accessible stop is the 6 stop at the corner of Canal & Lafayette Street. Artists Space is fully accessible via our ADA compliant entrance on 80 White Street. There is a wheelchair lift in front of the entrance and an automated door. The cellar gallery is accessible via the ground floor elevator.
Artists Space has wheelchair accessible gender-neutral toilet facilities on both the ground floor and the lower level.
Artists Space welcomes assistance dogs in the galleries and to all events.
Large print exhibition materials are available upon request with one week's notice.
Sign language and other interpreters can typically be provided for events with two week’s notice.
To aid those with visual impairments or cognitive disabilities, images and videos have accompanying textual descriptions which are visible on the site or parsable by a screen reader.
