Talk

Arthur and Marilouise Kroker are writers and lecturers in the areas of technology and culture, and together edit the influential online journal CTheory.
Their research over the last twenty-five years has mapped out important territory around how "we mediate dependency, freedom, and community in the midst of the fully realized technological society."  Including seminal publications such as The Last Sex and Data Trash, their work has specifically tackled the politics of the body in relation to networked media and advanced biotechnology.

In relation to the DUOX exhibition, Arthur and Marilouise Kroker will give a presentation titled Exits to the Posthuman Future. The talk will explore their current research involving technology, bodies, and neuro-diversity. In effect, what it means to be "posthuman" today, with all that entails in terms of complexity and bodily multiplicity.
