Cuban television -- soap operas, drug trials, public affairs reporting, aerobic programs, and much more -- will screen in the U.S. for the first time with the presentation of Stone's Throw: Television from Cuba, Island in Goliath's Sea. Also premiering will be Monica Melamid's Export TV: Anatomy of an Electronic Invasion, a documentary on "Tele-Marti," the controversial United States broadcast of United States Information Agency news programming and U.S. produced Spanish language television on Cuban airwaves.
